@Electrickery, I agree with you. You have put things really in a clear and plain manner. Live in Greater Manchester and go over to Meyseyside virtually daily some weeks. About 50 miles of motorway and 10miles A/B roads one way so round trip 120 miles. I have to charge daily. I just drive and...
@ChrisT even at the topmost regeneration of the best regeneration device in the world today one will not be able to generate more energy coming down a hill than one spent going up. So as you said it is an Anecdote.
The interesting thing about an electric car is that to a great extent you can...
Well done @JodyS21 I personally do not have this charging / voltage problem and I truly feel for those that continue to have it and those that are just recovering from it. I thing we should be kind, patient and understanding when this issue is raised over and over again. Whatever MG got wrong...
Yes l forgot about Mr Covid "the Jailer" and the fact that we are all in defacto house arrest.
I am sure we can get Nicolas and Boris to do something about it soon. Apparently they are now on good talking terms and have been comparing notes on how to become one party state dictators. Boris...
Yes rather trust MG about a cyberster than trust VW about rebranding as "volts wagon". I am sure the EV companies are all at it expect "Fools are US EVs" .
The cyberster is however real. Check the link below for further detail...
New MG Cyberster is sports EV inspired by MG B Roadster |...
@bloggsy a wee comment.
Forum Meet, please look no further than Greater Manchester with our extensive GMEV/BeEV network which I believe our Mayor Mr B is keeping free till we(all the GM regions) are recovered from Covid. I am not sure where @Cocijo lives but I believe EV free charging in...
Good going forward I will tell everyone I have a British Mach MG made in China and christened in Kristiansand as Lord Vader EV. I am sure I will be elevated until people actually see the car. Not sure what happens then.......
Yes the MG MRe will be definitely more expensive than the MG ZS EV and so far as Marketing is concerned it makes sense that if it were coming to UK then we would have been told by now. The message from MG is a clear no it is not coming. So one has to accept that for now MG says no. There is an...
Yes. There is a sound.
Most ICE drivers find it hard to hear this sound at first but with time you will hear it.
You may put a question on the Monday Podcast question board for @MilesperkWh or at @Mike if you still have concerns about your sound emitter.
@Pauline68
Yes your explanation is a good one.
China is such a big industrial power house. My worry is that it seems Boris thinks with Trump gone it is now up to him(Boris) to stand up to China. I hope Boris does not do that as a trade war between China and UK will have only one looser and that...
Not sure about the equivalence of EV HS and MXe but sad that MG is going out of the way to make it soo clear that the RMe will not come to UK. I think UK has been a good Market for the ZS EV and hope MG reconsider this decision.
@shikoku14
Do you have something insider info for UK MG SALES?
All the buzz I am hearing it a big no UK sales for the MG RMe here in the UK. Do you think MG will bring it to UK anyway?

Hi All,
Check out the link above.
The Marvel is here with all the features one would have hope for in the ZS EV. Range 250 miles. But it is not coming to the UK. Why?....some may say it would come to...
True ICE emissions are NOT GOOD for the environment.
EVs are better as they do not emit.
But......... well is it that simply??????
This video paints too rosy a picture for EVs.
The truth is that unless we can improve EV battery technology / battery reuse technology, electricity generation...
@JodyS21 Have you personally got one of these data reader gadgets?
I personally do not trust using a generic reader that claims to be able to read all makes of cars. I have some experience of these units from several years ago. May be over 15 to 20 years ago or more? At the time one was having...
@mj224
What was you voltage before having the update.
If your voltage was 450 - 455 before the update then you shouldn't be having any problems maintaining about 449-450 after the update and it shouldn't require multiple charges for that to happen.
Are you sure they haven't mistakenly applied...
OK that is interesting.
But all the same does not read right.
If balancing is working correctly then what ever measurement you use should read soh = soc = 100%
If it doesn't then battery is downgrading or the measurement is wrong or balancing did not work.
