    Cyberster Configurator Now Live

Of course it will continue to depreciate, I don't think it won't! £30k is what I'd be happy to spend on a nice car I like at this point. Obviously over a number of years it will keep getting less, but I don't want to wait another 10 years or so to get one for £5k or whatever, as we all start to...

Yeah, we get it, you're not sold on it. Really don't know why you're still knocking around here as MG don't seem to have anything to offer that you like... :ROFLMAO:

    Cyberster Configurator Now Live

Oh I'm not paying £40k for one! Now I have no regular income my respect for my money pile is too high to be dropping that much on a depreciating tin can, I'll buy one for £30k tops, if it means waiting two years or more, I'm OK with that. Of course, if my investments grow faster than...

    Questions that need answering, please!

Not to my knowledge, my last one certainly didn't, had to go to the dealer and sit for an hour whilst they did it.

Don't mean dull as such, but it's a mainstream type hatchback, pretty standard looking even in it's pretty performance trim, whereas the Cyberster is a proper exotic looking sports car. They're just not comparable.

Not a bad choice, be brave and go with yellow, I'm going to! The Model 3 is the better car of the two, but dull as ditch water, the Cyberster is lush as! (As da yoof would say innit?) You can't compare the two, the MG4 Xpower, impressive as it is, is a dull looking and practical family hack...

    Cyberster Configurator Now Live

I really hope so, I was going to buy a new one, but decided I've had enough of throwing £10's thousands down the drain in depreciation for one lifetime! Going to buy a low mileage minter after a year or two now I reckon. ;)

Cyberster - what we know so far

Ioniq 5 is an entirely different market though, very impressive, but won't appeal to those who want a 2 seater sports cabrio.

Cyberster - what we know so far

Thanks for this. Don't like the washed out red wheel and seat inserts at all with the dark interior. Hopefully we'll have the option of grey and black when it gets here.

Cyberster - what we know so far

They're both cracking cars, I used to love running V8's back in the day, but it's 2024 now and the only ICE engines I want in my life are in my classic VW's! Now if Jaguar made their coupe as an EV...

What's it for, to stop wind buffeting?

    Latest MG Cyberster spy shots

Thanks for the great pictures. I see a market for aftermarket clip in plastic panels for these holes! Nice to see the use of alloy castings rather than pressed steel for the strut towers.

Haha! You made me laugh with this one, Probably more important in China than the offset frontal, lol!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Look carefully at the road signs, that car isn't RHD, for some reason his video is inverted, it's actually LHD.

I hope so, it's classy, much nicer than the washed out red colour.

Cyberster - what we know so far

Unlikely, more likely to be some sort of fast emergency disconnect for the high voltage system.

Fully Charged drives the MG Cyberster

12V battery doesn't worry me at all, they're cheap anyway if they fail. That said on my current long term classic cars, I just fully charge them, then disconnect the negative, when not in use. For long term non use over winter and such like, the best option for EV batteries is to run them to...

Fully Charged drives the MG Cyberster

The other downer of Porsche ownership is they will screw you over with a huge servicing cost, even on an EV. I think Taycan owners are paying around £1000 for basically a next to nothing service! I just can't tolerate that anymore after owning a Tesla and just doing routine maintenance when...

Fully Charged drives the MG Cyberster

No doubt about it, this isn't a suitable primary car at all, but that's not what it's for. I'm getting one as a fun, play car. Back in the day, this type of car would often get kept forever as a collectible. Not sure if that's going to be possible long term with battery cars though, time will...
