Hi reporting back after the car was in the dealers. Despite me explaining it was the setting on the headlight sensor that needed to be changed they didn't find this - they did do a lot of updates though apparently. Little bit frustrating and will try to get it sorted again at some point.

I am booked in to hopefully have this sorted out by the dealers and will report back on what happens.

Hi I have this issue on my 2022 LR - I see at least six other owners reporting this on the Facebook group and one who has had her car with MG for four weeks with no fix yet. For now I am just switching the lights on manually but when they have worked out what the fix is mine will go in for it...

Hi same for me too but mine kept flashing on and off - haven't got round to taking it to the dealers yet but definitely a fault as doesn't happen in our ZS.

Hi I had that on but why would that effect the lights going on and off? It was dark enough for all the other cars around to have the lights on and this doesn't happen on our ZS EV.

I was worried that the other drivers would think I was being aggressive as they kept flashing randomly. Will see if it happens again - car is clean so don't think it's a dirt on sensor issue. Thanks

Hi yes I did and when I came home when fully dark they were back on auto and fine.

Hi I had my auto lights on first night drive just now and they kept flashing on and off on the motorway - just getting dark but other vehicles lights were on... Is this normal?

We are very lucky - lots of people who ordered the new ZS have been told not due till September! We only bought our MG5 last week - but I had contacted lots of garages to track ours down. #teamsilver

Yes appreciate that I have spent hours and hours researching and phoning and hunting down an available car - one ready to go one coming around 1st March ...hopefully I won't miss out but viewing both colours tomorrow and placing the order.

We are now leaning towards silver!! If we get through the flooding ok tomorrow (red alert) we will probably make the journey to the garage on Saturday and see both colours in real life. With our ZS EV it was so easy - white and no choice but it really shows the dirt! Thanks for your help.

Hi we test drove a red one (lovely!) but none in that colour available till May and our old diesel has just bombed...the silver is available in a garage 40 miles away so might have to drive there to make sure. Think they have a blue one in the showroom too. We are getting it on the Affinity deal...

Hi we are looking at buying an MG5 as our second EV in the next few weeks and have the choice of a silver or blue....any reason other than looks to help us decide on our new wheels? Currently leaning towards the blue : )

Hi joining in if that's OK - we pick up our zs ev on Friday first ever ev for us - the dealer said probably £100 ish to add the software update but agree it ought to be free! Hope there is a change of heart on the cost.
