Anyone used a TESLA charger yet????

Hi All, I'm doing a journey through France next week. I've done this journey a few times now in the MG ZS (mk1) and this time ABRP has pointed me in the direction of a couple of Tesla chargers. I know that Tesla have opened some chargers and obviously the ones ABRP are showing should accept MGs...

    Emergency - stranded in France

I believe there is a page on their website that will tell you the state of the chargers. However, the last time I passed by they were out of order but there was a service station just before the tunnel and the CCS charge was free (FOC). Hope that helps

    Emergency - stranded in France

Hi Charles, I just answered you questions in the other link so won't go through them again but a few things to point out. 1) When my car had the same problem the 12v battery was fine. Also I think it must be a go to standard as the mechanic that came out to us tried to boost the 12v battery and...

Eurotunnel Nightmare Charge!!!! and a quick question!

Hi Charles, I get these messages set through to me work e-mails so I've only just picked this up. As I purchased the car in France (I live in the South West) it was a bit easier in regards to the repair. The car was taken to the nearest MG garage (Lille) and as it was Christmas it took a few...

12v Car heater and what is the best OBD2 adapter for Watchdog app?

Is it ok to use the heater in the car, whilst it's charging?? It shouldn't be a problem most days as I'm an efficient driver as it is. The problem came as I needed to do motorway speeds and although I wasn't hitting 70 I still needed to keep up with the traffic and get where I was going!! Oh and...

12v Car heater and what is the best OBD2 adapter for Watchdog app?

Hi, Recently I did a long drive in the early morning. As I set off I had to de-ice the car on the inside (yes inside). As it was a long journey I didn't want to use the cars heater too much but obviously safety came first and it took and extra stop. This lead me to search for a 12v car heaters...

Eurotunnel Nightmare Charge!!!! and a quick question!

I'm 90% sure I did switch off, as it makes sure when you exit the car (lots of bongs!!), to let you know it's still switched on. As for waiting 10 seconds, that I'm less sure of as it was blooming cold and wanted to get into the warm terminal building as soon as possible. If that was the problem...

    Travel through France

I maybe wrong but do some charging companies hold a £25 fee on your card each time you charge, which is normally paid back within 20-30 days? Could this be SteveP's problem. Again I'm new to all this so don't shoot me if I've got confused!!!
