I have MG HS PHEV and I booked my service for July a few weeks ago, this is my last service on by service plan. I asked about a replacement plan and the dealer said as only have 15000 at 3 years it many better to save the money I spend on the plan as I do low mileage.
Just plug it and will balance the battery as needed, you do not need to do anything. It more for full EV that charge to 80% that need to do this from time to time.
If you are a low mileage driver then you are not given the battery a enough charge when driving around and slowly the 12V battery will deteriorate and then not hold charge, that was you warning that came up. Just like with a ICE car come out after a few very cold mornings then go to start the...
Hi
As the car has had this same fault 3 time I would start looking into having it replaced with a new car. The person work with used to be a BWW sale Manager for some years and this used to be the rule, now I do not know if covers all makes but look in to it.
I have had nothing that worries me, had all above but would call malfunction as there has been a reason for them, never had roll back on hill start can only say after a short time most cars in the past would roll back. If if you do not press the bright pedal hard enough, it will not engage the...
Hi
Just to point out its just a name that changes it is still the same car, also you only hear bad thing on here so it’s a few cars out of thousands sold.

Looking at the miles divided by time your only doing 41 miles a week so how many days does the car stand around for. This sound like the 12v battery gets discharged to a low point were there is not enough capacity to work the relays to start the car, interesting the car jump in to life on the...
I have not looked but if you can hire ramp time getting up in the air you may be able to get to the holders, I can see them taking a part in the workshop to do a small job. I would first have a feel round by laying on my back under the car to see if you can feel the holders.
Just make sure that the plug and socket are kept dry the charge is water proof, I have charged for over two year with no problems but did buy a cover for the car charging opening to keep rain snow and frost off.
