If you can see the stone then a bit of superglue on the end of a wood skewer may get it. There are YouTube videos showing this approach for extracting broken headphones jack out of a socket.
Be aware that caring for your battery could be the more expensive option. If you can get a battery change under warranty then your car is likely to last longer. Not sure how easy this is with MG or whether they will just argue the case. And even if they give in I suspect a replacement battery...
I have octopus, chargemap, shell, chargepoint and freshmile. The only one that didn't get used last year was freshmile. It just wasn't worth it when 15 euros credit had to be maintained. I could have easily got away without shell and chargemap as well. Both were only used once.
In short...
I had heard good things about costco. Unfortunately that requires membership and a trip to Bristol (don't think there is a costco more local).
A little too much hassle for my interest in tyres. Sure its easy but not one for me.
Not EV specific but I know there are several members in the area. Can anybody recommend a trustworthy place to get new tyres fitted. My front two need replaced soon. Dealer will do it but that doesn't feel like the best use of my money.
Does anybody have a link to a good schuko to 3 pin adapter for a UK granny charger? I'm sure somebody posted a good one a few months ago but I can't find the link.
If a euro granny charger is a better and safer option then I'm happy to invest a little more. It will only get used once a year...
Never has made sense to me. Speed is related to time but not in the case of kWh.... other than the fact that it is.... but it's not. It's like somebody got it wrong many years ago and refused to accept they got it wrong..... so much so that it stuck.
I disagree. There are many very happy MG owners out there. I have 2 MG cars on the driveway. Both are fault free and I've had great service from my dealer. Of course neither are MG4's. I'm glad I didn't make that switch given the yet to be resolved problems.
I used one in Le Mans while on holiday. I paid the subscription but didn't end up using them again. Found cheaper chargers. Still, it got me out of a pickle.
In terms of use I found them slow to start. Had to move from the first as it didn't work. Once charging nothing to complain about.
No, not in recent times. A quick search through the forums show numerous people who have sold for more than they paid. This can be years, not weeks or months, after they bought the car.
As the title says are used car prices coming down? I have tracked the value of my MG5 over the past couple of months using Cazoo. Thy are offering £1500 less than 2 months ago. I am obviously putting miles on the car but not that many. It is still worth more than I paid for it so I'm not...
Good call on the MG4. I love my MG5 with the deal I got last year. With current pricing the MG4 is difficult to beat. Boot space and rear centre head rest are the only benefits I can see with MG5.
You can always switch onto the next new estate from MG in a few years. On the MSP it should end up...
