Not EV specific but I know there are several members in the area. Can anybody recommend a trustworthy place to get new tyres fitted. My front two need replaced soon. Dealer will do it but that doesn't feel like the best use of my money.

Planning a trip to France soon. Should I take my granny lead? I don't have a schuko adapter and given the slow charge rate I don't plan on getting one. Looks like France has plenty of public chargers. Will benefit from the spare space for bringing back beer. Opinions?

Has anybody explored changing the fake engine noise the mg5 makes? Maybe with a box that allows for the noise to be selected.... like those cheap doorbells. Feels like a fun and very achievable little project.

Anybody had issues with delivery of a freshmile card? Ordered one a couple of weeks ago but it hasn't turned up yet. Ordered a chargemap card today. Given the price I hope that turns up. Didn't have any problems with delivery of the clean air sticker.

Have had my LR for nearly two weeks now. Driven over 800 miles already. The one thing I haven't worked out yet is where a ringing/whistling noise is coming from. Sounds like the front passenger side around the dashboard. Only happens at 45 mph upwards. Road type doesn't make a difference...

Has anybody taken the usb stick out of the hypervolt and popped it in another pi to see what it is doing? I didn't like the idea of a pi in my charger which is why I got a zappi. Kinda glad now as I would have gone tinkering.... And likely breaking.
