I hate to be that kind of self publicising person, but there is my lightly used blue LR in the classifieds if someone wants something immediately...
Appreciate it's a private sale so you've not got all the finance options, but still if there's someone with thier heart set on a ZS there is one...
Drive it for a bit and it'll reset itself. I had an incident with a piece of tyre debris that damaged the mount and took the cover off.
Once I got it back I clipped it back in and put some tape across it to protect it. To my surprise it then worked fine.
I think the parts to mend it properly...
Unfortunately I'm going to have to part with my MG ZS LR - it was one of the first to be delivered back in December 2021 and has 15800 miles on it (this will go up as in daily use).
It's in brilliant condition, just a few tiny marks here and there that'd you'd see in any 15 month old family...
Might do you some good not dwell on it by endlessly posting about it on a random forum then.
I can't say I'm particularly taken with some of the things on mine either, but posting about it isn't really going to change anything and making things seem worse than they are definitely won't.
Never had much of an issue with it in mine on a motorway. I'm not going to say it's perfect but it's not as you describe. LKA is annoying though.
That said I don't doubt it would be useless on any other sort of road. But then why would you be using it there?
The thing that makes it a little...
Given the numbers MG are selling at the moment I'm not sure they're particularly bothered.
I have a ZS LR, indeed I've had it over 12 months. It's been fine, but a couple of things are niggling at me. The lack of a rear light, the fact it's still waiting for a new steering column (since...
I wouldn't say it's overly light compared to some, but it definitely is a quicker rack (ie fewer number of turns lock to lock) than a lot of other vehicles - our MGF and Outlander to name a couple.
I can see why that might make people who aren't used to this think it's skittish.
Personally I...
The UK has one of the safest Road networks in the world. If you think its bad here it must be postivley barbaric elsewhere.

I don't doubt you are correct, from what we've been told, but I do have a hard time believing it's physically impossible when it does regen on the speed limiter.
I suspect its more a case of MG not wanting to put the resource into making it happen.
I hate to bring it up again, but I'd be looking at what you posted there vs what other drivers expectations are - I suspect your answer lies in there.
Whether that is right or wrong is another debate entirely.
I'm not 'judging' or 'naming' anyone. I'm pointing out that most people buying these cars will expect to be driving them at a little more that 55mph on a motorway, with the heating on.
If it works for you, great, but I doubt many will be doing it, nor should they be expected to to get an...
I'm not sure it's normal behaviour to drive at 55mph on a motorway....
I'm just back from a 350 mile round trip, going I averaged 3.2 mls/kWh which would give me a total range of 218 miles full to absolutely empty. Coming back the traffic was a bit heavier and I averaged 3.6mls/kwh. Exact same...
No. Read the thread. It shouldn't 'charge to' 270 miles. That figure is a function of your previous consumption, which is dictated by your driving, the weather and numerous other variables.
2.6 miles/kWh is about right on a motorway given the weather last week. It'll probably improve to about...
While good, I'm not sure turning the heating off and slipstreaming lorries is something most would do though.
For reference those figures are mine are in Normal with the AC set to 20°c.I just leave it at that all year. I use MG Pilot a reasonable amount and tend to do normal motorway speeds...
That may be, but it's outstandingly rare to get - 10°c in the UK for any length of time.
I was getting about 170 miles last week and I'd say that's about as cold as it gets.
I'm not sure those EV database numbers have changed since the car was released last year either - they did a good job...
I'm 12 months in with mine and I'd say those EV database numbers are a little off from my experience its;
City Cold - 230
Highway Cold 170
Combined cold 200
For reference I'm estimating from the cold numbers from my Dec - March and this Nov - Dec Average
City Mild 270
Highway mild 220...
