My consumption with solar and batteries on average from last October is, 8% peak, 92% off peak. Saving between £25 to £30 a month if I were on a standard tariff.

Actually, a warm battery improves the chemical reactions making it more efficient. Similar to a cold engine using more fuel before it warms up.
