And that depends on individual situation. As a company car owner you may be benefiting from effective salary sacrifice and 0% BiK, plus it sounds like you do plenty of miles.
For my wife it will be a private car and realistically she does about 6000 miles per annum.
An EV will save around £65...
The PCP rate is the same as everyone else is offering, 4.9%. There is a £2,500 manufacturer contribution, and again most manufacturers are doing similar - there are no other free things that are specific to the PCP - the Peace of Mind deal is on all retail sales, not just PCP..
And you want...
Just been to the dealer and had a look at the new MG ZS. I know it is personal opinion, but for me its looks blow the EV away.
The seats are probably very similar, but the red stitching and the MG logo makes them look so much more.
The 10" infotainment screen is a big improvement over the 8"...
Just been into the dealer. He confirmed that the MG website is badly written. The £2500 contribution is on PCP sales only, but the 'Peace of Mind' package is on ANY retail sale that is registered before the end of September. He showed me his system which confirms that.
Cheers,
Nigel
I need to double check but my understanding is that is an MG manufacturer offer not a dealer offer. So it would be hard for them not to give it.
Cheers,
Nigel
Not what I’m seeing.
For example my local dealer won’t offer me anything buying cash or HP. They will give a £2,500 contribution if doing PCP.
The swappage is very best deal if you happen to have an old worthless car to hand over but I don’t.
So the deal above from Glyn Hopkins is
£27,995 -...
Okay, that is all carwow do - invite MG dealers to quote - so when you said I’d get better deals going to MG directly I thought you meant bypassing the dealer.
Cheers,
Nigel
What are the comfort 2 updates - is that the one to calm down the boings, stop the radio coming on at full blast - the one that costs £85.
If so then no, it didn’t have it, the salesman made great lengths to mention it and say they would apply it for free in a car we bought.
Cheers,
Nigel
You asked me what I thought of it.
I took the time to answer.
And then you dismiss my thoughts because you don’t agree with them.
If you don’t want to know what people think then don’t ask - I only posted my thoughts because you asked for them.
Been drawing up a comparison table between the...
I know about the EV, you asked if I realised how long the MG ZS has been out.
Any googled now
MG ZS - 2017
MG ZS EV - 2018
Not sure what you can deduce from this. Going to see the new ZS later today, will see what the dealer says.
Cheers,
Nigel
Two cars on our shortlist, the MG ZS EV and the Nissan Leaf Tekna seem to be trading blows equally when I look at the plus features of each. Very close call but the MG is just winning overall on price. Mind you just getting some carwow quotes in and that RRP price benefit has been eroded some...
I have no idea how long the ZS has been out - to be honest I wasn’t even aware that MG were still in existence until I started looking at EVs.
Cheers,
Nigel
I thought it was like all the other SUV EVs we have driven. There are things that are good, things that are bad. It’s strongest point is price but that is an important factor.
Can’t say I thought much of the infotainment system. That is lagging well behind the competition. It doesn’t seem...
I have emailed MG, no response yet but they haven’t had it long.
The worst thing they can do though is ‘don’t know’ which is what I am half expecting, because that just makes me very nervous and would probably push me away from MG.
If they came back and said October I would probably wait. If...
Test drove an exclusive - in fact our dealer told of that of all the cars that they had sold (sizeable number which I can’t remember at all) only two had been Excites.
Basically said that no one is buying Excites - the price saving compared with the lessor spec is not worth it for most...
Looking at purchasing an EV and the MG ZS EV is still on the shortlist, vying for the top spot.
But I have just noticed that the petrol MG ZS has had a facelift with several improvements including
LED headlights
Improved body style - better looking front and back
Better looking ‘leather‘ seats...
