They definitely trying to steer us to cancel, which I refused to do. they mentioned a ZOE or Corsa for the same price which is not practical option for me similar price apparently but i didn't ask for specifics as I am not interested in either of those options

just got my call They are willing to waive the charger costs if you cancel, but won't pay to get it removed (ha ha) I thought I might ask just to see what they will say.

Same boring call saying absolutely nothing. No build date, the "estimated" delivery is 28 April 2023. Grant extension expires in May but not sure what day in May, so therefore no buffer at all. Zero confidence in Vanarama.

They have done nothing for us. That is a fact. I make a fortnightly complaint on Trustpilot to make myself feel better. But they have so many 1 line 5 star reviews on there. Very 🤔

Not a single delivery as far as I am aware or seen, Vanarama will be shouting from the rooftops if they have. Only the expected silence from them.

Or extremely busy promising clients that they will be getting their MG4's in 3 or 4 months

Shocking isn't it? I am in the same situation, I ordered through Vanarama in Nov 21. I am sure MG will have a ZS EV facelift before we even get our cars.

Exactly, the fact that Vanarama are taking orders for other MG's (MG4 etc) in the meantime shows they don't really give a s**t.

Just had the call from Vanarama, I ordered in late November 2021, so the 6-month grant extension takes us to May 23. Estimated delivery April 23. That gives them a 1 month's buffer. Let us just say I am not convinced this is going to work out in our favour.

How about Vanarama get a single car delivered before the 18 months elapses? Will be a great start

I have that same feeling when we get the call in about a month's time.
