Assuming you have mobile signal that is! And pressing a button on a key in your pocket is better than the 20+ seconds it takes to open the app, wait for it to refresh, put in the code and unlock!
That said I have been saved by the app on one occasion before
For one it kept a log of whenever you charged and drove and its efficiency so I could look back as far as I wanted (I'm a bit of a sucker for a bit of data)
I keep having CarPlay drop out or just not connect on the MG (never had the issue with my Nissan and yes I've tried doing a full reset on...
I'm 1200 miles in and completely agree! The car itself is pretty good. There are just so many bits that are just plain stupid. Mainly with the software which just feels kind of half arsed. It looks nice but functionally it's a bit rubbish. It's missing so many things that my old 2019 Nissan Leaf...
What charger has everyone gone with from Vanarama? Was wondering if it's possible to get an Ohme one? (ChargedEV do sell them but it's not available in the list when you go through the link Vanarama sent). Ohme is required for the decent EV tariff from Octopus energy.
I watched a lot of long term YouTube videos before getting the car (had a lot of chances in the 16 month wait for the car to arrive!) and none of them mentioned my bug bears. Makes no sense!
I agree being budget isn't an excuse. Though it does seem to be quite a big separator. Tesla is...
My new ZS EV arrived a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving the range but the software seems largely basic and in some parts just really badly thought out. Most of them I can get past but the settings reset is downright infuriating.
It doing things like resetting the KERS level back to 3 and...
It actually arrived at a dealer but not indicative for most because I moved house I had to go through finance again which delayed everything. When I booked, the earliest they could deliver was 2 weeks later so I'd guess they will contact you soon to arrange delivery then 1-2 weeks ish
It's a lease through vanarama, dealer would be greenhous
They have come back and basically said they need the new details and consent to do a new credit check. Not sure how long that will take. But more delays on an already delayed car is irritating and I'm worrying about the credit check
So My car (Trophy LR White) has arrived at the dealer. Problem being - they say they will only deliver to my home address (I moved house late last year, several months after the order was meant to be delivered...). They now say they need to go back to the finance company to change the address...
(Vanarama) Order went in December 2021. Just had the call that it (white trophy LR) is on the ship and will arrive at he dealer mid may!!! The car is actually real!! I am so excited it's unreal
Either way - I ordered mine back in January last year and no word other than the above.
They rang earlier today to give me 3 options
1. Continue to wait and hope I am in the 6000 they are actually building (out of the 11,000 orders)
2. Swap to a different car with not discount
3. Cancel the...
Just had a look on their website and I can't see anything even close (under £350/month with >200 miles range) so unless they're going to be generous and give major discounts on what's on their website - their phone call will just end with the customer saying keep the order and hope - or cancel...
FYI - I've just had this email from Vanarama... (I ordered mid Jan 2022 and according to the dealer - my order was assigned to a pre-existing order placed by the dealer on 22/11/2021
I got in touch with Greenhous to find out my order number / actual order date and Nick there was extremely helpful!
Still on back order (obviously), but the car I ordered through Vanarama towards the end of Jan 2022, the actual order date was November 21st 2021.
Think that adds credence to the...
