Why I am so happy not to own a Tesla model 3

Opening glovebox - push the speech button on the steering wheel, say "open glovebox" and guess what happens! Works for wiper on/off/speed, heater, heated seats and a few other things I've tried, including music although that can sometimes be hit and miss (comes with Spotify Premium as...

Why I am so happy not to own a Tesla model 3

Yes, it seems that's the case. As you will have seen, I did resign. Also, your forum owner does not drive a MG, gonna gripe about that too? 🤣

Why I am so happy not to own a Tesla model 3

Hmmm, a Tesla hate thread, how unique! If you can't see what speed you're doing in a Tesla, an eyesight test and pair of glasses is probably a better bet than another car. Oh, and the glass roof is UV resistant (or whatever the term is), not been burned yet and I'm a real slaphead! True, the...

Tesla Opening Up Supercharger Network - A BAD Idea

A first at my usual spot referenced in my post above, I popped in to charge on the way home, it was completely empty. On approach I thought the entire site mustn't be working, but it was and I had it all to myself for about 20 minutes. Which was nice ;-)

Tesla Opening Up Supercharger Network - A BAD Idea

I'm a Tesla convert. Had my M3 for 5 or 6 months now and love it. The charging network is awesome. Where I usually charge on my 200 mile each way commute at either end of the week, I've never seen a non-Tesla there, although twice in that time is has been full with Teslas and I've had to wait...

    Free Tesla Charging

Having moved to a Tesla a couple of months back, their charging process and infrastructure is awesome. Basically turn up, plug in, unplug when done, drive off. No apps or on site payment. Shell Recharge seems pretty good too.

More price cuts from Tesla it appears

Ooh, must keep an eye on this! I'm really enjoying my used M3, it has it's annoyances, but on the whole is very impressive. The Supercharger network is beyond brilliant, I use it extensively now (and Shell recharge a bit too, as there's a point right outside my workplace). Not sure about some...

For Sale First Generation ZS EV Locking Wheel Nut Kit For Sale

As I've now sold my MG ZS EV, I no longer need the wheel nut kit which I purchased from Brown & Gammons, MG Specialists, as recommended on here some time back. Looking at their website it looks as though they will fit other MG EVs, although I can't make any guarantees about that. Asking £20...

Quick Question for a Quick Answer - MG4 Trophy Extended Range

Thanks all for the replies, the video (and others on that channel) were useful. Looking at changing the gen1 ZS as I have a 200 mile commute coming up. All options considered, including ICE! 😲

Quick Question for a Quick Answer - MG4 Trophy Extended Range

Hi All, Can someone let me know the real world range of this car travelling on the motorway please? Say at 65mph in winter. MG website estimates 239 miles. Many thanks 🙂

Could this be a reason for all to buy a Tesla ?

Makes me wonder how that sits with ludicrous mode. Perhaps that'll be an insurance optional extra, much like many things with Teslas seem to be.

Charging my Gen 1 2020 Mg ZS it normally charges up to somewhere between 185 and 198 miles

Never had anything that high on mine, usually goes to 175.

    Paying the dealer

That's what we used when we bought our ZS a few years back.

How to update the Sat nav?

It's a shame about not having NaviExtras support anymore. I bricked my gen1 ZS satnav soon after buying it and they sent me restore files to use and it fixed it (posts on the forum somewhere if you want to look). They were actually really helpful as I recall, the dealership had no idea what to do!
