It appears that the problem could be one or more of a number of issues. Hopefully a new Wallbox and car built in charger will solve the problem. Thanks for the suggestion.

To update you with my Wallbox problem I now have a replacement sent yesterday. I now have to let Wallbox know so arrangements can be made by them to have fitted at no cost under warranty.

Interesting. Did you get a visit from a Wallbox engineer. The engineer has insisted there is no issue with my box although I have not had a visit.

Over the past 4600 miles I am getting 68.6 mpg which included about 1000 miles towing a caravan. Over the last 450 miles I managed 125 mpg. No towing. I fill the battery up every night to keep it full at the start of every journey.

Had mine first week of April no problems with granny charger on a timer overnight but pulsar plus wall charger a nightmare. Some nights starts then stops after 5 mins sometimes doesn’t even charge then on another night charges to full.

Had same problem but my wife looked on line and found that holding the home key down does work but for 20 seconds. Also if you hold the home key down for 5 seconds when you’re screen is restored you get a clock and date.

The lag is normal and I agree with you about the issues. It’s the electric gear but changing gear trains. Like going from second to third in a manual. The whine I don’t know but I could understand if it is deliberate as a number of cars add a sound so pedestrians can hear you coming.
