MG 4/Mulan after crash. Drive with deployed airbags. Crash reset. Cable and Software.

Very strange. It's coming up ok for me on my phone but still "Page Not Found" on my PC, despite turning off VPN and ad blockers 🤔

Warning Chimes with no visual clue

It happens to me when I have the dog in the car on the back seat. Unless the two outer seatbelts are plugged in, whenever the dog moves to one side and puts weight on the seat, the car assumes that there's someone in the back seat not wearing a seat belt and "bongs". Took me ages to find that out!!

    MG4 Windows dropping?

First time I stood back and proudly looked at my freshly washed MG4, after using my brand new pressure washer, and only then noticing the passenger window was open by 1/4 inch 😭

    Really stupid ABRP routings

I must admit, I've cancelled my ABRP subscription as I just don't get the use out of it I thought I would. I find Google every bit as good when I do need any charger info, so I prefer to save myself 5 Euros each month.

    MG iSmart 2.0 [merged]

Yeah, like others, mine comes up with the "login token expired" after about an hour and requires me to login again. Whilst I was logged in, I enabled biometric login, but it fails to offer that option and I have to enter all my login details again  Why don't MG just bite the bullet...

    MG iSmart 2.0 [merged]

Doesn't seem to make any difference whether I try to use my phone number or my email address - it simply tells me "Fail to get [my email or phone no] from Tenant[.....whoa, suddenly decided to work! As others have said, their servers must be taking a bit of a hammering right now!!

MG4 Lane assist, speed assist keep resetting

It's more than time that NCAP looked at real life operation of vehicles and stopped trying to nanny us all the time. Most (not all unfortunately) of us are grown up and are capable of steering a vehicle all on our own without interference from badly programmed software.

    MG4 Windows dropping?

It's a pity there isn't some sort of guard on these switches. Unfortunately they are proud of the door pull surface and are very easily touched by accident. Don't ask about my soaking wet passenger seat after washing the car last week 😭

    Software update just installed

I think R46 should be seen if your infotainment has been updated.

    Another new (to me) "feature"

Believe me, you wouldn't want my mutt to stand on your foot! He's 40kg of well honed blubber!

    Another new (to me) "feature"

    He's a bit of a lump! I suspect he's part brown bear 😂😂

    Another new (to me) "feature"

Discovered a new "feature" in mine yesterday. I'd heard random chimes (more of a "ding" rather than the usual "bongs") from time to time when driving and not seen any reason for them, no warnings on the screen, nothing. Then yesterday, I had to take my dog to the vet, so, as usual, put him on...

    Lane Keep Assist love.....

You can add my voice to those requests! I have got into the habit of switching off LKA each time I get in the car, but when you're making a series of breaks in a journey, it becomes a time wasting PIA each time. Simple key press would make it sooo much more user friendly and still be NCAP compliant.

MG4 Spotted! : Was it you?

I've now seen two MG4s, one blue and one orange, in Yate near Bristol. That's in addition to my own orange Trophy of course, but I suppose it's not surprising seeing as AE Wilcox, the nearest dealer, is only a few miles away in the small village of Wickwar.

    Customer Service

So MG don't trust their dealerships to diagnose a problem? That's worrying!

Not just the infotainment that is buggy

Yep, I can confirm. I can get to it ok as well. @JustAnotherMidlifeCrisis I think you'd better ask your dealer to get a better internet connection :D

    Our mg4 is dead

A lot of the time it's down to bad connections. The cars are delivered to the docks with the 12v battery disconnected for safety and reconnected to move the car, probably not securely. If a dealer then does not do their job properly at PDI and check the connections, then....voila, bad battery life.

1 week to go - Excited is an understatement.

I used to think that way, until I realised that, unless you're very slow at releasing the inflator (been there, done that!), that the hiss when you disconnect is simply the pressurised air in the connecting hose.
