    "fogging" of front windshield

I have noticed the seal at the bottom of the windscreen (outside, below the pass side wiper) has lifted away from the glass. Related, perhaps? I'll update once I've been to the garage 👍🏼

    "fogging" of front windshield

Yep, check ✅. One of my first checks and the car is pretty much on fresh air all of the time.

    "fogging" of front windshield

I've had a similar problem, when ever it's raining outside the windscreen fogs very easily and I have to use the specific windscreen demist function about every 2 minutes! I thought at first it was due to having got in the car with wet clothes (soaked in the rain) but this week it's happened a...

What do you use on your seats?

Erm, because the handbook, dealer, MG websites and many reviews I read say they're leather? Are there different grades or coverings dependant on model?

What do you use on your seats?

I tend to use Auto Glum leather cleaner followed by leather care. It's a timely process but I still enjoy as new comfort and looks (and smell) after a year.

Infotainment system update, when and how?

I wondered, if as many of us have been told, it's a chip/processor issue, can the chip be updated by users. Much like a processor on a PC or laptop?

    Recall

My recall letter arrived this week (same as everyone else's, earthing problem) and will get it booked in. I'm hoping it maybe remedies the occasional "HV Battery Shut off" on starting 🤞🏼

    Android auto

I've recently purchased the AA Wireless 'puck' and installed in the car. Android auto now remotely connects seamlessly everything I enter the car without any need for plugging in each time. About £85 all in with the different cable so I can close the cover. Got the tip from someone in this forum...

    Walkaway lights

Yes, but not all steps every time. Once activated on the menu, you only need to pull the light switch (as if flashing main beam) after you've turned the car off when you wish to use the function.

    Mud flaps and boot liner

Mud flaps arrived this week (in the middle of moving house!) and I have fitted them. Overall, very happy! they look like MG fitted parts and are secure. I now hope they stop a degree of crud and splash up the side of the car and through the exhaust exit aperture in the bumper!

    Updating Sat Nav

Hi all, I have just updated my satnav system (Q2 2022) from the Naviextras.com - Map updates for your navigation device and more... which is the one signposted in the manual. However, after some to-ing and fro-ing, it is not actually the website you need for the update per-se but a PC (or Mac)...

    Mud flaps and boot liner

Having been enlightened about AliExpress on another thread, I am going to dive in and grab some of the mud flaps. Was gutted when the ordered protection pack was not fitted. I also rather the like the step/side rails. Have ordered a little decal type thing to test delivery etc

    Android auto slow

I've seen a number of reports on Waze causing AA to lag during navigation, a quick search online will bring up the news. Perhaps going back to your old Asus meant an older version of Waze and one not so laglustre (sorry 😊) I use Google maps on my Moto Edge 20 pro and it seems once the car has...

Video playback on the infotainment system

And I should add, as soon as I put the car In D, the video stopped but the audio continued.

Video playback on the infotainment system

Hi, I was curious about the video capabilities too and thought they would be handy while waiting at pick ups etc. I loaded a few MP4s onto a USB, and hey presto, car on Ready and in Park, worked a treat! I did notice it didn't read my .avi files, perhaps that's the issue?

    Door mirrors and windows issue..help!

Probably going to put the kiss of death on mine now, but, had the car a month and was worried this may happen to mine (especially in the current heat) but pleased to report all is well. I wonder if newer builds have had a better module fitted?

    Self Charging

I was pondering this earlier today, if I leave home with a full tank and full battery and have charge mode on Medium, can I assume the engine won't charge the battery (but regen will continue to do so)? My thinking being that on a longer drive, as the engine isn't looking to use petrol to...

Gear shifting in EV mode, Warning

I'll throw my hat in the ring here, same issue, sadly. I have noticed there is a 'guide line(?)' in the rev counter that up to around 40mph sits at 80%. I've noticed that at the point of the lag, this line slightly drops and then moves up to 100%. I am assuming that is showing a available power...
