    MG Ambient lighting

I realise that but i wanted something more OEM without cables being seen in the cabin. A pet hate of mine if it can be done without seeing any wiring . My dashcam is wired so comes on as soon as you sit in the seat. Easy to do so ill go down that route i think.

    MG Ambient lighting

For hardwiring to a switched fuse in the fusebox rather than taking up a usb socket. The intention to wire to the same fuse as the dashcam so as soon as you get in the drivers seat the strips come on. Not the exact one as you would probably need the 5v conversion type like a dashcam...

Anyone 'pepped their brake lights up' yet, as Vyvyan would say?

I posted the original how to for the led reverse lamps and indicator led swap. The light clusters are cheap crap to be fair and i had rusting on screws behind them when I changed the bulbs . I couldnt see any drain holes but im not suprised they mist up.

I wouldn't bother doing any of that. Why should you. I removed both tail lights by unplugging the harness no different to what you are doing. Makes no sense what so ever. Regardless what people say it has no canbus for lights etc. I ran the car with lights disconnected with no warnings.

No particular side. The seller did send a couple of images straight forward.

It just illuminates the corner lights as per the image and not the strip across the back. Confirmed by the seller.

I am assuming it does. I'll message my man and report back.

I'm thinking about it. I contacted the seller as I have had a few bits from him. Just to clarify, only one is needed, which has been confirmed. Shouldn't cause too many issues during the day with the light, and it reverts back to normal at night.

Mine did it a couple of times , pain in the bum. I used a tiny bit of super glue around sides and top and bottom and no issues since .

    Poor quality car mats

I bought a set which were supposed to be one from their top notch mats. Quality is cheap and nasty in my opinion . They have done less than 3000 miles and near to knackered . I wont purchase their old tat again . You live and learn. Should be crapmats .co.uk

    MG4 Aftermarket Wheel Options

HI Are you saying you removed the sensors from the original alloys to the new alloys? If so did you make a note of which wheel each sensor came from. For example front offside etc The system will show a TPMS fault if the valves have been mixed up to different wheels.. I should think your local...

    MG4 Aftermarket Wheel Options

I changed my wheels to 18 inch with same size tyres as a summer alternative. TPMS sensors were £25 each wheel but if buying on line as i did then its no so straight forward. The company coded my valves which clearly wasnt going to work as each needs to be read and coded to the new valve . I...

    LED ambient lighting

I did think they may not go into the gap as it's more of a seam than two seperate parts. Thanks for that it's made my mind up now. Would have looked good if doable. 👍

    LED ambient lighting

Do you think the strips would fit along the door line to continue on from the dash? I was thinking of doing this and installing along this line taking the door panels off and wiring through the grommet. Are the cables to each strip long enough though if i did the rear doors as well?

Does it always power on with the multi colour effect or can you have it come on solid colour. Not keen on the strobing thats all. Other than that looks good. Any reason you didnt go for the USB version?

    Aftermarket Wheels

insurance charged 24 quid for the new wheels as a modification although they will only be on until October depending on weather then the stock ones will go back. I may take the tyres of the stock wheels and stick some winter rubber on.
