Not on the MG5.... I set the temp at 22degC, but every time the AC is activated via the ON/OFF switch then it sets the temp to LO in the car- even though it still says 22deC on the app.

It appears that there's a bug - at least as far as the MG5 is concerned. Starting the AC using the ON/OFF button in the new app, the system ignores whatever temperature is set and just pushes out air on LO - so useless for preheating the car. Tried the old app, and it all works perfectly...

Under Settings/Battery you should an item Protect Battery - this limits charging to 85%

I can't really see the point of this comparison, but suspect that many people would feel that the Volvo is worth the extra £4.5k. Personally, I don't like it as it doesn't have a proper dash, but then many people buy Teslas ;-)

It's not just about numbers, it's about providing safe, sheltered and convenient access, so that people on their own feel comfortable about charging.

It is indeed a real issue. If you add in someone being on their own, it's not only uncomfortable and inconvenient, but potentially dangerous. IMHO, we really do need to up our game if we're going to meet the 2030 target. If we don't, then I suspect that public pressure and pressure from the oil...

It seems very odd - whenevr I've changed the cameras around I've had to pry the adhesive pads off with a blunt screwdriver, they stick so well.

I've had lots of problems with gadgets not staying stuck, but not so muchh recently. The pads supplied with a number of Apeman dashcams and now a couple of Viofo have just worked. However, with the last fix I tried the transparent sheets supplied with a Viofo, and they've worked well, too...
