If you're a fan of the Ikea TRADFRI home automation solution, their smart switches are rated high enough to support the granny charger. I used one for a while without any issues. The plug on the extension got warmer than the smart switch did (settled at about 10 degrees above the ambient temp)...
Thought that was just me - yeah, the 'far' setting is probably where I would expect the 'middle' one to be... Saying that, there doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference between the three (not that I've had much time to play with ACC on suitable roads yet)
Yeah, intelligent is as good as useless, especially given that in this mode you can't set a limit on all the roads that it misses (or there are no signs) and that's normally the 30 zones where it would be most useful.
If it’s anything like the 5 you have to turn it back on in the infotainment every drive. Oh, and let me know how well it copes in a 20 zone on Intelligent mode. The ZS reportedly is fine, but both 5s I have driven throw an error.
