I'd suggest that if you're a Scotsman and want to save money you start learning about KWh then which sometimes are referred to as "Units of electricity". Essentially what you were saying is that if your electricity company were charging you 40p for each kilowatt-hour (kWh) and you said that the...
I agree with the above the AAWireless doesn't have a GPS receiver it is just a bridging device between your phone which has the GPS and Google Maps etc. and the USB socket in the car. So it is your phone that is the issue. However, perhaps the MG4 is screening the signal more than your previous car.
Check your user manual, but on my ZS it is the passenger side footwell between the bottom of the glovebox and the door. I used a piggyback fuse splitter to give me a second switched live.
I had Honda CR-V and both the dealer and the handbook said that after fueling I should keep the fuel gun nozzle in the filler tube to allow the tank suction system to drain the nose and thereby prevent fuel dripping when removed and contaminating the vehicle paint. I followed their instructions...
This crops up a lot on the forum with ZS and MG5 owners and I can't really understand why people are so fearful of using what is a perfectly good solution called the HVAC? Certainly with the BEV with instant heating the screen can be quickly cleared and turning on the AC I have yet to see any...
I had the rear half of the car tinted shortly after I got my ZS in 2020, but halfway through September (when were all let out to play with our friends you may recall) I took one trip from the South East to the South West and my wife had to cover herself with our windscreen sun shield to avoid...
Is that your experience? Only I have inadvertently driven away with the charge cover up on more than one occasion without consequence and I would have thought the stresses of the vibration of the car and 60 mph wind 9as I drove) would have been more than enough to overstress the flap yet as I...
There have been postings on the forum about WiFi connection issues with PodPoint Solo and these have often been fixed by turning off Sky Boxes and/or Powerline internet extenders. You shouldn't have to do it but if you do have to turn them off for PodPoint Solo to communicate with the internet...
I guess if the film began to disattach itself and when the window was lowered and should the film scroll up and jam and then this jammed the mechanism or caused excessive drag and load on the electric motor so that it burnt out .... etc then it might not be covered.
More likely some customer...
Changed the wheels too I see ;-)
I had special Thermal Film on the fronts and it made a HUGE difference to the heat transmission blocking 95% of it but virtually no difference to the light. It was however more expensive than just a tint.
I doubt the dealer would do it themselves but just get some local guy to come into the dealer. I'd much rather take the car to a specialist (which I did) and have them work on the car in controlled ideal lighting and conditions. I got a lifetime guarantee on my tints.
Yes, I was offered that but it would have meant completing on the sale, in any case, and then leaving the car with the dealer so the dealer suggested that I just get the tints locally to me at a convenient time which I did then went for a walk for a couple of hours while it was done.
I can assure you that none of the "Professional" window tint companies I spoke to before I have my tints had any intention of removing the glass to apply tint film. None of my glass was removed. I had a modest tint applied to the rea of the car and a thermal tint to the front doors which blocks...
I am led to understand that tinting of glass does indeed constitute a "Modification" but that it is only of interest to your insurance company. You are supposed to notify your insurance company otherwise in the event of an accident your insurance company could reject your claim and you could...
I used to caravan with both petrol and diesel although no longer. I would have thought that the Rule of Thumb from the CC would not have been based on a Hybrid configuration where both power plats work together flexibly and don't forget the higher Torque from the EV motor will totally skew any...
Yep, it's the way it's designed. I believe it is because it's ported over from an ICE car which doesn't of course have any Regen. It's possible that future models will have regen. However, the lake of regen will make very little difference to the overall efficiency I've found. The correct...
