I absolutely agree with @shaunuk, make the charging part of the trip rather than a chore to be done. One other thing, in my opinion only. You said "we" were going on a trip, so you have a wife/significant other in the car, Are they interested in the whole EV lifestyle? we are still a bit niche...

A quick update, having had the tint done a few days ago and had a couple of sunny days. It makes a MASSIVE difference to the heat in the car, both on the driving seat and steering wheel.

The reason we did the front was mostly to stop the heat and UV.

My red one tinted for comparison. 15% on the back 5 windows and UV Pro 70 on the front 3 windows.

There are more and more 'contactless' options out there but apply for a couple of apps, Podpoint and Shell. but the biggest bit of advice I can give you is....... make sure you have more than one contactless payment card, at least 2 maybe 3.
