I have the same with my MG ZS EV Mark 1, except that it does sometimes squeak very slightly in neutral, and very loudly almost always in reverse, only when backing down our slightly sloping driveway. I can't understand how neutral makes any difference, but it certainly does. Wetting the disks...

I suspect that they are charged to 50% at the factory (best for storage), and the cold and shipping time dropped that to 45%. So maybe you're praising them for doing a fat nothing 🙂
