There's a link to register the fault with MG somewhere in one of the threads . Having registered it with my dealer I myst find that again and do it. Best let them know from all sides. In the meantime if anyone's got any mates in the fabricating business and a friendly ramp owner.... 🤔😁👍

Think it might be that it needs to be fitted to a new ( or at least unwarped) undertray. I think once it's warped it's too late to straighten out again. Fine if it has happened yet, but if it hasn't happened yet, is it needed kind of catch 22 situation.

Time to go along at the busy times and ask, in a loud voice, if these are likely to have the same kind of problems and crap customer service as the MG4, i.e. saggy undertray f'r example 😁. When I bought mine the sales rep actually had the audacity to say he'd never come across the problem.

My view precisely. There was a hint of an implication that she was about to say they said no-one else had complained about it but she veered off at the last minute, obviously remembering that I'd told her about a thread on a very popular MG EV forum where lots ( and lots) of owners were stating...

Just had a response from dealer regards undertray sag and there rnquiry with MG. "It's not an issue, you can't see it, it doesn't impact on performance or anything else for that matter - get over it". Well, that's me told and the dealer totally agrees with my view of MGs customer service.

Doesn't it just require enough taken off the top to stop things working, i.e. about half an hour or so? I had this with my last ev. Never had a problem with it in 5 years then when cleaning it to trade in had all the doors and boot open while vacuuming etc. for about half an hour or so and...

Never used mine in 5 years of ownership, but that's just me. Always had one, just in case. Used to take it with me for the first six months of ownership until I realised I don't need it with my style of usage. Tethered DC and tethered home AC and granny charger for domestic solar set up.... but...
