My Granny charger shows this info on the screen. These were the chargers MG supplied with the first ZS EV's to arrive into Australia.

I would order one (along with every taxi & full time ride share driver) but unfortunately not available in Australia. MG Australia have refused to import, instead focusing on higher margin vehicles.
Side issue from your questions. Buy a small lithium jump starter and keep in the boot. They are light, cheap and fit in palm of your hand and are Lifesavers when you need a jump start.
Hi Les, no I haven't heard of this before. Will definitely need investigating to get to the cause and stop happening again. Pls keep us in the loop. Also congrats on the podcast. You guys do an awesome job! 👍
Hi All, this is a a great idea for making EV's more versatile. I made a video for fun on installing a small DC/AC inverter into our ZSEV. Check it out HERE and please Subscribe and give thumbs up if you like it, thanks.
As for the technical stats, thanks to other Community for providing this...
The lithium iron jump starters are a great investment. Fit in palm of hand, weight nothing, and have torch and multiple usb charge ports. Approx $150AUD for a decent one over here. We mention them in this video we done . Cheers from Down under 😄👍
This sounds like a supply/grid/charger issue more so then the EV. As some comments above have said some chargers often never reach anything like their nameplate capacity because the infrastructure (grid) feeding them isn't up to scratch. Happens everywhere around the world unfortunately although...
Bummer! Yes if 12 volt battery is flat an EV won't start up so you can't even charge from traction battery. Grab a lithium jump starter and keep in the boot. Don't take up any space and have added benefit of a torch and USB charging for devices. We paid approx $150AUD so cheap insurance.
