The maths are very optimistic. The 20miles was based on 5miles per kw and no battery losses. The one thing that I did see is it supports bidirectional charging in home. If so, that would be lot cheaper than a home battery.

Swansea to Bristol Airport is only 86 miles (according to google). Unless your driving "like you stole it", easy to do on a full charge. I would on the way to the airport pop into mollies at cribbs causeway to top up to 80ish% (best for speed to rapid charge with a warm battery), maybe food also...

The miles on the GOM will come back, as when the BMS is updated, all usage is erased. Unless you have lead foot like i do and might see it go down 🤣 Also on benefit of the 449v BMS is that kers 3 regeneration is available sooner and less "use brake" warning when fully charged.

Zappi has built in scheduled charging without the need for hub. Hub is only needed for app and WiFi support.

Most chargers are set to - no signal, no vend. :( its just the Ecotricity units that are set to free vend with no signal, as back in the old days, these were the only units around and often if the unit cant connect to the 'net, you cant call customer service...

It will be 0p or very low Xp for solar, and the few that do get FIT payments for solar generation, that will go to paying for the panels. The only way to get negative electricity is to be on octopus agile tariff and hope to see a negative prices. Which i think last happened last year....
