On your phone, if you swipe down and select the Auto app, selecting Midi and PTP and the other options seems to kick it into life. I have also had a Frame issue message mid navigation which can leave you high and dry when driving. I unplugging the USB and putting it back in seems to fix that...

That's a great idea. I wish I had thought of that. My MG5 came with a three pin only, had to buy a Type 2. But with hindsight, in reality, I will only ever use CCS and they come with a tethered cable anyway, so I probably won't use the Type 2 much, but worth having in the boot.
