My wife is probably the main driver of our xpower. I suggested to her that she drives in ECO all the time. Even then, it’s still somewhat pokey. I think she’d ban me from driving it if she knew just how quick it is in SPORT. She must never find out!

I’d be wary of charging to 100% every time. The recommendation with Xpower is to stick with 80% unless you’re planning a long trip, which keeps the battery healthy. LFP batteries don’t mind charging to 100% all the time. You’d have to look up exactly which MG4s have them.

My wife WOULD use it, but mine seems to have a fault. It’s intermittent at best. I’ve tried it with several very different phones, with no change. I should get it seen to on the warranty, but it’s too small a thing to be bothered.

There should be less pedants in the world.

I’ll soon have to do my first Xpower road trip, so I’d love to know what other Xpower drivers have for their accumuled miles/kWh? Mine was at a steady 3.0 for the first 700 miles or so, but has now (1509 miles) dropped to 2.9. So far I’ve only really pottered around in it, with very few motorway...
