The indicators were done quite a while back by @SCB86 and they were CANBUS. He bought lights specific to this that did not hyperflash.

I had Global Tints do mine as well, I had Twilght on the rears, and the highest legal on the front, which is less than Twilght. Twilight would not be legal on the front.

How long depends on how out of balance the cells are. The car will eventually tell you to do it but by that time the cells will be really out of balance, hence it telling you to do it and so will take a long time. Possibly several long times. So yes it is good practice for both you and the car...

The guy was wrong, they have no tint from the factory. Someone posted a letter confirming this from MG somewhere on this forum.

Update. Decided to let Halfords do the install as I am a bit hopeless sometimes and I wanted it done cleanly and with comeback if any problems. :) Turned up and after they realised it was a BEV, refused to do it. Turns out Halfords will not fit a dashcam to any BEV due to past incidents that...

Hi @macd2401 I believe the nextbase I'm installing has a safety cut off built in if 12v drops to 11.2v. Can you clarify 'generic power supply', and I wonder if 11.2v is sufficient to start the car.

I shall be doing mine next week (a lowly Nexbase 322), have you hardwired permanent live ? Would be interested how this affects the 12V battery.
