Rolfe, you mention GeniePoint chargers in Halifax. In my experience and Trust Pilot reviews, they are unreliable. EDIT - I've just checked the recent Trust Pilot reviews - they are all one star! Looking at the BPPulse reviews, they are trying to get their act together.

I'm not sure the interior lights will turn off, if turned on manually. They will drain a battery overnight.

Can you provide the dimensions of the wheelchair? I presume it folds. Do the handles fold down and the foot rests come off? Do you take the wheels off? Could it fit behind the passenger seat?

The parcel shelf is designed to be easily removed. With it removed, the wheelchair might fit in vertically. I can investigate further if required.

Just to reinforce the above. The MG4 battery is probably intended to start a small car which requires about 150A. A 2L diesel requires 250 to 400A to start. Add in the possible problems of frying the MG4 electrics and it's not worth the risk.

I find it most useful when charging the car at public chargers. You know when it's reached the desired setting, if you are having a coffee nearby. But if you have never found it useful, unbind the car, delete the account and app.

You will need a type 2 cable for street chargers, if you have to use them.
