MG have really screwed up when it comes to the ZS EV. A great car, for the money, which should have had literally thousands of drivers telling people how good MGs are now. Instead they've now got thousands of drivers telling people to avoid them. I'm sure the MG4 is a fine car but I doubt that...

Much more likely is that someone who ordered a car gave up and cancelled the order.

Is the dash-cam port always powered on? If it is it could drain the 12v to the point it throws up lots of errors. If not, they're talking balls.

I'd have thought lease wise as long as you stick the covers back on when you return it, and the alloys don't look like they've been angle-ground, you'll be fine.

Same here but I think it's the bit that looks like shadow and the join is "pointing" at it. That is a quite jagged rip; my guess would be caught on some branches when parked under/near a tree. Or an animal (bird/cat) has taken a real exception to it.

Range depends as much on your driving style, and road types/speeds as it does the cold. Long range on motorways is estimated, by MG, at 207 miles. ~186 miles you should be seeing at 100% isn't a massive drop for this time of year.

Iirc he's with motability so effectively a lease and MG are singularly ignoring lease orders to supply the dealers, regardless of order date.

So I've emailed MG again and part of me will be gutted if they reply that it's being built/shipped as I've given up waiting and ordered a ZE50. This will be my third ZE50 so I know what to expect from them and in some aspects it's a better deal than I was getting on the ZS; £22 a month cheaper...

Playing devils advocate; your next car might support 3 phase AC and the weight (~3 vs ~3.5 kg) isn't that much more. If you do go for the 3 phase make sure it is a 22kWh cable though, a 3 phase 11 kWh cable will actually charge slower on single phase than a 1 phase 7 kWh cable...

11kW on board is available in EU. Depending on country either as a standard or option. Not offered in UK, and I think Eire, at all though.
