Go back a page and read the story  it did fall off but then I bought a special 3M tape that's super sticky (3M VHB 5952) and it's been working fine since I put it back up like a month ago
They are stuck to a plastic stiffner rod that's stitched to the back flap at the bottom of the chair. There's plenty of slack on the cable so even though it's going over the rail it's unlikely to get caught by moving the chair.
Here is all the mess  The bluetooth control unit just sits in the cubby between the chairs and the wires feed out from it. Looks more noticeable here with a flash photo than in reality you would hardly notice it. I also got a 90 degree usb adapter so the wire doesn't stick out as much...
It turns on when you sit on the driver seat and off when you lock the car.
I'd have liked them to turn on when I unlocked the car, maybe that would have worked with the front ports I don't know.
Yes it was very simple to install. Literally took about 10 mins.
I used the rear usb port and fed the cables up the side of the seats under the base lip of the centre console so there are virtually no cables showing at all, and no trailing cables from the cars front usb ports into footwells.
I bought this pack and just installed it today. Despite the brightness of the photos its quite a gentle lighting effect. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B083GHXFTJ
Indeed lesson learnt. I'm not dissing carmats.co.uk, they were the only vendor selling mg4 tailored mats when I ordered the car last year (I mean that as a positive point for them, not that I had no other choice, cos I could have ordered the official ones) and as you've said their higher grade...
Oh and the footrest pedal is meant for an Mercedes GLA but fits over the MG4 one perfectly

Yeah I know they weren't the most expensive but I wouldn't have expected them to start curling after a few months, that was the only thing that made me want to replace them.
No this is the Trophy model I ordered a year ago and got in March 2023. The pedals are from aliexpress

Theres a thread where I posted about them last year somewhere in this forum
Ok so after sourcing all the materials I restuck the base of the light using the 3M VHB 5952 holding it for a few minutes in place and leaving it for 48 hours to "adhere". Lets see how long it stays up for this time :)
I also had put the replacement bright leds in the front back in April last...
Where did you get yours? I got mine on ebay from The Chorley Group in Burnley, £75
Just fitted them today, much nice quality than the "grand" grade mats from carmats.co.uk that started to curl up after a few months.
I also bought the cheaper mats from carmats.co.uk. Kudos to them for getting an MG4 set of mats out so quickly after the car launched but mine have all started to curl and the driver mat sometimes catches on the accelerator. I ordered the official mats yesterday, hopefully they will be of better...
