Mine isn't due until April but I checked what it would be if I renewed a couple of weeks ago and it went from about £320 to £380, so near enough a 20% increase (MG5 LR). It's annoying, but nothing unusual - it always creeps up, especially over the last few years.

I'm well into my second year with my MG5 and I've only used the granny lead at home (plus a few 7 kW car park chargers occasionally and one rapid charger just to test it out). I don't do that many miles though.

So it's not an anti EV campaign, it's an anti renewables campaign (aka a pro fossil fuels agenda). It fits with their agenda of supporting the policies of their chosen political party.
