All specs and dimensions are the same across both generations. Only the front and rear bumper moulding and grill have changed, except of course the screen and dash but they don't affect the floor.
I had the doors done but not the footwells - think the front bulkhead and footwells are done in the updated version - my test drive was certainly quieter. But if nothing else was done having the doors padded out improved the cabin anyway.
Sorry for the delay replying, i've been away for a few days. The total cost inclusing sound deadening in the doors, fitting, amp speakers and sub woofer under the boot - £1300 but what a difference!
I went to a local shop that did in car audio systems. They did the sound proofing in the doors, amp and speakers. It is a huge improvement especially as there is no engine sound. They also installed an electric tailgate (that I had bought online ) and an LED halo light around the sunroof.
I chose Audison speakers to replace all the original ones, added a sub woofer in with the spare wheel and an Amplifier the total for the kit was £1100.
Wel, done, I paid someone to do my upgrade and looking at all that I am glad. Aswell as the amp and speakers I foundvthat the sound deadening in the doors made the car much quieter overall, the car MG should have made.
