Interestingly, I've just found this thread as I'm looking for the answer the other way around, converting my LHD lights for a visit to the UK. At the moment, my plan is just to lower the beams because I can't find an answer anywhere and there is nothing in the manuals relating to it either.

Ours isn't - we need to sign up with an app and have a minimum of 12€ credit at all times - it's the main reason we changed from shopping at E.Leclerc to Intermarché where their chargers do not even need an RFID Card, just rock up and plug in.
