As it says on the tin. Sometimes it boots back up in Fahrenheit and you can't change it back to centigrade. Take it to a dealer if you are having issues.

Hi, if the you can get in using the above method and the car still does not light up then it sounds like a flat 12v battery.

Hi, Fast charging uses the type2 AC cable which can take a few hours. Rapid Charging uses the CCS DC connection and will be done in 30 minutes.

Do you know what they replaced?

You could disconnect the 12v battery, that's all they did the first time my MG5 was in. It has since done it again but Richmond cant book it in until late October 😪

It only stops the radio from working, you can still use a USB stick or Bluetooth

Type2 is fast. DC CCS is rapid charging

For an EV you need a type2 to type2 cable rated at 32A single phase. Hopefully it will the same for your PHEV.

If you have a type2 lead then have a look at the socket on that and compare the pins. The CP pin in normally shorter so it makes contact last and doesn't tell the the EVSE to put 240v on the larger L1 pin.

Have you tried Zap-map or ABRP.

On DC the rate drops but on AC it should draw 7kw until full the balance at 300-500w

Hi, where are you seeing 13A? It can not pull 13A for hours on end it is only 10A. What does the voltage rating plate say on the EVSE?

Ask your MG dealer about tow bars.

If it is thecsame as my MG5 'granny' EVSE then it uses a 13A plug socket but draws about 2.2kw which is 10A. Not sure why yours is only 8A but how are you measuring it?

I thought you had to have your electric switched over but not necessarily the gas.

Most home EVSE are 7.5kw about three times quicker than the 2.2kw 'granny'. I add about 35% battery a day so couldn't do that on a granny in my 4 hour 5p slot
