    New X Power Vibe Poll.

Another "Have vibes. Much reduced" here. We've now done 5000 miles and still get them sometimes but don;t seem to last that long. For those that have no vibes it would be useful if they stated when their car was built 👍

VIBRATION ISSUE - hot off the press!

Yes, I get a vibration as soon as I turn it it on and then it seems to disappear into the background once driving.

    Thinking of ordering one

That's quite a lot cheaper a month ... maybe the deciding factor 🤣

    X POWER EXPERIENCE.

Yep, I totally agree and quite often zap past crawlers that are doing around 10mph less than the speed limit.

VIBRATION ISSUE - hot off the press!

    Thinking of ordering one

^^^ Aaah ........ the famous James and Katie😁😁 who reviewed the X-Power (video on here somewhere) and did'nt find the X-Power a compelling buy. https://www.mgevs.com/threads/x-power-not-liked-by-james-and-kate.15426/post-261763

    Thinking of ordering one

I'm with johnb80, the Xpower is a great drive and I love mine but MG UK themselves are terrible for communication, getting parts , long delays for servicing and repair and they just fob you off over the X-Power vibration issue. The Tesla would be a lot more practical space wise plus you'd...

Well this sucks (XPower crash tested) 🙄

Sorry to hear that .... it's one of the reasons I won't consider an MG again ... delay in getting parts 😒 as well as general MG service and customer service. Much as I still love the car. I just could'nt deal with the delays, frustration and stress and I live in fear of something going wrong...

What have you bought for your Xpower this week ?

I could do with a set of logos for mine (probably in red or white to go over my black caliper covers) ... did you do them yourself or go somewhere for them and if so where, and how much please ?

    Dealer refuses to help

Absoutely typical of MG UK ... they are going to get a very bad reputation for customer service IMHO and as for the secondhand values of X-Powers, well enough said !! 86 on Autotrader at the mo 😲 £1800 price drops too on ones for sale in one month :-

    X POWER EXPERIENCE.

As above, the modes only alter the throttle response and steering weighting AFAIK. The power output ultimately remains the same, you just need to press the accelerator further down if not in Sport mode 😊

Collected today - bitter sweet experience

I reckon the latter for existing owners I'm afraid 😡.... especially after reading that email. A fix may come on new cars eventually but words like "working on solutions to improve driver experience" suggests to me there is no cost effective fix for existing cars. Hope I'm wrong !! Thanks for...

Windscreen wipers lifting at higher speeds

There's a good recent review of windscreen coatings here (includes GYEON Quartz Q² View, Aquapel, Gtechniq G5 and even Rain-X which does well 👍 :-

    MG4 X Power First 1000 Miles.

I would love to go to an X-Power meet up where we could compare cars / vibes / refinement etc. ? Fortunately my vibes have reduced a fair bit now after 4000 miles and I only get them now and again. I'd be intererested to go out in a car which has them bad for comparison. Likewise for...

A warm welcome to the forum😊 ... there's lots of great info on here and helpful people👍

Windscreen wipers lifting at higher speeds

No problems for me yet and totally agree with above post for making the glass hydrophobic. It also helps remove squashed insects with just an easy wash 👍

    Xpower collection tips

Personally I would insist on going out with the technician when they test for the vibes during the PDI and make sure they cruise for quite a while at the 66-70mph range. If you get the garage to remove the caliper covers you will need to keep all the parts safe for when you return the vehicle...

    MG4 X Power Roll Call.

If you do decide to paint them the screw holes have circular rubber grommets in them. They are easy to remove for painting and then putting back after the paint has dried 👍 I sanded them down well to remove all the gloss and then used the following products. I applied about four thin coats of...
