To be fair, the charging network is definitely improving. Just stopped last night at Donnington Park services and bored the pair of Gridserve chargers there are now upgraded to support dual charging, so now 4 vehicles can charge simultaneously.

I can confirm this is a great little charging spot and I'm looking out for similar places when planning longer journeys now, although when we used it the cafe was closed and we had to make do with snacks from Tesco and cheekily using the loos at the Premier Inn next door!

I've used a Tesco rapid charger which actually had a button where you could override the default (which was to stop at 80%) and tell it you wanted to carry on to 100%. It's easy to miss, especially given they're not all built the same. If a car isn't charging then it's fair game in my view.
