Headlamps have moisture absorbing bags within them...

Only if they splice silica bags under our eyes.

Headlamps have moisture absorbing bags within them...

The silica bags are behind the reflector, which is behind the flap mechanism, which is behind the projector lens, so they would have to squeeze past the reflector to start with, where there is no opening big enough for them to go through. Zero risk IMO.

Headlamps have moisture absorbing bags within them...

Leave them in, they're there to absorb moisture and prevent the headlamp misting up inside.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned the wind deflectors to prevent rain dripping in when you have the windows cracked open slightly.

    Upgrading Dash Camera

I have the Nextbase 522GW with the rear camera that attaches to the side of it, the one with the telephoto lens that looks through the rear window, not the wide angle lens for the interior. I had my doubts about the rear cam attachment, but I didn't want to route a wire to the back and was...

    KERS...

The BMW GOM must be an even bigger liar than the MG one. I have had the range on the GOM go up by 5 miles at the beginning of a longer journey in warm weather though.

    Paint protection

I knew someone back in the late 90s who used to do the Supagard application at a dealers and he said half the time they didn't apply it at all. In fact he gave me a couple of kits for my own car that he hadn't applied to customers cars.

    Paint protection

I had Gen3 on my last car, a Prius, still looked as good as new after 5 years not garaged, kept outside on my drive. I decided to go for paint protection on the ZS last July, the dealer used GardX for £199. I was initially impressed at the way the water ran off and the car seemed to clean itself...

    Spare Wheel in Australia

My boot floor has always been on the second level because I have both the space saver spare and the repair gunk still sat in there. Spare wheel on the bottom face down, Gunk kit on top of that and the jack and wheel brace (in it's own foam) fits nicely in the big square hole in the gunk kit...

    Spare Wheel in Australia

It is too shallow to fit flush but I think it should fit ok under the floor if you put the boot floor up on the second level.

    Granny charger extension lead.

Coiling it up does add to the heating because the wires are closer together, no air circulation between them. Time also adds to the effect, the longer the wire is left coiled the hotter it gets, due to the lack of air circulation.

About as useful as an ashtray on a motor bike.

    Granny charger extension lead.

The heating of the wire is mainly caused by the resistance, a bigger wire would have less resistance so less heat.

    Granny charger extension lead.

I would make sure the specs for the cable are listed and it's a 13A continuous rated extension (when fully unwound), not a 13A max one. The Granny draws 10A IIRC.
