That’s correct Simon however it’s a permanent fixture replacing the rear crash bar behind the bumper cover. Not really a covert temporary fitting that the dealers can remain unaware off.

I removed mine for good. I didn’t want to be faffing about on a wet dark night trying to change a wheel.

Just back from the garage, the bolts I bought are Defender DLB39 by car accessories ltd.

Hi Ian, I was in the same boat. I bought a set from my local motorists centre for £25. An exact size and design to a normal wheel bolt.
