Been in touch with my dealer. I have cancelled my MG5. BUT the only reason is that my preferred option, an MG ZS EV Standard Range is available now in Dynamic Red (my preferred colour!) so have switched my order over. So all the best to you all and hope you enjoy your MG5s when they arrive :)

To my knowledge the iSmart app doesn't work with the current MG5, only the facelifted MG ZS EV

I'm hearing a few people saying their orders are being pushed further and further back. If that happens to me I'll cancel. You can't treat customers like that.

A brand ambassador does sound pretty pompous I know! He called me back to say it will be delivered before 6th May but will only know once the car is being made.

I ordered end November. I was told by the brand ambassador for MG at Mangoletsi that they have 6th May on their system. But it was showing the same for all MGs for orders from September to now so he thinks it's not accurate. I'll find out more tomorrow.

I am extremely confident that my insurance will drop somewhat when I swap from my Stelvio to the MG5 LR 😄

My current car (a Stelvio) has Michelin Cross Climate SUV tyres and they are excellent. Great grip in all conditions and have worn very well. They are pretty decent for road noise as well. I have had the same tyres for 13,0000 miles and they still have plenty of tread.

Just ordered a Piccadilly Blue MG5 today having test driven one yesterday and loved it! Mangoletsi are saying February for mine
