I would say the burden of proof would be on you to prove your emergency brake activated. I suppose it may be traceable via the software, but I wouldn't expect MG to be rushing to assist.
I'm not prepared to take the risk. Ive driven for 40 years without it, and Im not going to risk an accident...
That is true to be fair. Maybe we are expecting too much. The MG offering is exceptional at the price, and it will get better. This is essentially MGs first crack at this sort of tech, and it's a decent attempt at the price point. Maybe a big compliment for the manufacturer in a lot of ways...
I wouldn't trust it. If what happened to me happened to you, I suggest you would feel the same. Especially if someone rear ended you as a result. In my case, the cars systems totally over reacted to the situation.
Yes, it can be turned off. Its bloody dangerous and Im not exaggerating. The day it came on for me as described above, it was totally at the wrong time and could have caused a rear end collision if a car had have been close behind me.
A car in front of me braked to turn left. I was well in control with plenty of space behind anD suddenly the ZF decided to do a full on emergency stop. Frightened the bloody life out of me. Highly dangerous as well because if there had have been a car behind it may have run in to me. It's...
Automatic Carwash? Dantes inferno to hell you mean. These should be referred to as automatic sanding machines. I would never put a car through one of those contraptions, not if you like the look of your car.
The ZS ev has a usb port directly behind the rear view mirror which is a fabulous idea. Small 5 inch mini usb cable and job done. Took about 30 seconds.
I have fitted at least 5 dashcams on family cars. None were difficult. You can buy a piggyback fuse kit for a few pounds on Ebay. Find a 5v...
We are about to order the ZS EV Trophy and Im shopping around currently for insurance. Cheapest so far was LV at £344 fully comp inc business use for 2 drivers. AXA was a close second.
I can get a quote on the HS hybrid as well as all the electric versions. It seems the lady at AXA you spoke to does not know what she is on about since the current MG company did not exist in 2009, nor were there electric versions made then!. Online at the AXA site, there are 4 different...
