Used to be my feeling as well, until it was pointed out that you can control all KERs levels by having on 3 and controlling through accelerator position.

I now always drive on KERs 3 (ZS 2nd gen) and use the accelerator to control the level (I can coast at 0 regen and up to max regen with full release of pedal). Problem for those using 1 or 2 is that on release of accelerator pedal and use of brake it seems to only be capable of using assist...

As a last resort you could try disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for 15 mins. This should re-set systems in the car and may clear the problem. Then try the granny charger to check

Eh? They can't replace the battery because they don't have the battery part number? you got to be kidding?

Might be an idea to see if the granny charger can suppy your needs, some members do with similar mileage. Could be much cheaper than buying a seperate box, and will certainly fulfil your needs whilst your landlord flaffs about.

Like some others I use LV, they undertake not to price hike. I do check every year and the renewal quote from them over the last 3 years has been the cheapest. They also do free fix if you run out of battery which is a nice add on.

You cannot add to a full battery, therfore KERs only works once there is space in the battery to take the charge.

Try disconecting the negative battery terminal (trusty old 10mm spanner) for 10 mins which will re-set car?

You havent installed a powerline adaptor for wi-fi? that can cause problems

Just checking that you have not installed a powerline adaptor, these can allegedly cause havoc with chargers. I have a EO Mini Pro 2 as well, never had a problem with it. Timer is set for 12.30 to 4.30, its been faultless?
