    Black MG Bonnet Badge

I used the supplied double sided tape. As well as putting on the inside of the new black badge, also put around the existing badge. I have had no trouble.

MG4 X Power tyre change for the vibration issue

I had continental all season contact 2's (just released) fitted to my ZS EV and the improvement over supplied tyres is very significant, whilst economy appears unaffected. They are excellent for the UK climate. Not sure if I will change the MG4, the existing ones (18", same as the xpower) seem...

BMW drivers vs MG4 xpower - no contest so why bother

I doubt the police are using many BMW's now, they kept on catching fire with some tragic results. https://jalopnik.com/bmws-are-bursting-into-flames-so-they-don-t-have-to-be-1848542518

MG4 X Power tyre change for the vibration issue

One of my friends has an MG4 extended range and went in to Kwik fit to get a price for 4 Michelin all season contact 2's, they quoted her nearly £900. She phoned me whilst still at Kwik fit, I used the code online and price was just over £600 which they grudgingly accepted....... Be careful out...

    MG4 XPower Range and efficiency

Might be an idea to hold of until the fix for steering vibration reaches these shores

XPower feels slow and launch control not working

Sounds more like an issue with the individual car rather than a overall issue. Definately one for the dealer (if they cannot fix you are entitled to a full refund). This has been an issue with some cars and MG appear to have a fix, but you need to contact dealer and give them a chance to fix...

    Xpower as a hot hatch

Think I will wait a bit for the Gen2 which will hopefully re-map drive wheel motors a bit and have the extended range battery?

    MG4 X-Power waiting area

The disapointing non straight line handling comments seem to be around how the car is set up % wise from back to front motors with too much emphasis on the front rather than back. It would be interesting to try one that has been adjusted to more back power.

I disagree, once Giry Smartsees accepts responsibilty the following obviously applies The Infinite Improbability Drive was a wonderful new method of crossing interstellar distances (and MG X Drive) in a mere nothingth of a second, without "tedious mucking about in hyperspace." It was...

    MG4 X-Power waiting area

For everyday driving it is the initial acceleration that gives you a great advantage, especially in those 3 to 2 lane situations. I love driving EV's, and have had one for over 6 years now (zoe, leaf, ZS and now MG4). I never argue with the naysayers, just agree with their increasingly...

    MG4 X-Power waiting area

Yes, I know, its funny how 80 miles in Scotland can change entire dialects. One of my sons has been immersed in the Aberdonian tongue. I used to play team squash against one of the Buckpool teams (we played Gordonstoun teachers too). The excuse to get out of the horrible trip in mid February...

    MG4 X-Power waiting area

Yeh the battery longevity could be an issue, but I doubt very much that I would use the launch into space option very much. Its more the advantages that 4 wheel drive can give a fast car on those windy roads. I mean, think of how many sheep you could scare on the Applecross road :).

Yes, that seems to dispel the negative comments, a great drive on the country roads, upgraded suspension etc, although the caliper covers do seem a bit OTT, maybe paint them pink. Shall check with insurance tomorrow

    MG4 X-Power waiting area

I am getting more inclined towards the Volvo EX30, 0-62 in 5.7s for LPF (£33,795) and 5.3 for NMC is fast enough for me. The awd is 0-62 in 3.6s. I had one of the first mondeo V6'S which was 8.3s, considered a bit fast in its time, how things have changed.
