Just adding a comment, that's all. I think the ER is a bit under-rated. Possibly not many people actually need that range when they really sit down and do the sums.

Horses for courses, and all that. When I get into arguments with EV haters it always seems to be the ER I bring up, because it's range that seems to obsess them. Telling them that there's an EV that pretty much starts out blue and ends up red doesn't impress them quite so much.

I sometimes talk about the X-Power, you know! Don't they have a flavour of Taycan that does sub 3 seconds?

That's how I took it. Just a friendly note, no penalties. X-Power owners, be careful about these mats. They're made for the SE. The floor ones also fit the Trophy spec as far as I know, but the boot liner definitely will not.

Sometimes. But I don't want the Trophy trim, I like the SE trim, and I like the LFP battery too. I don't see them bringing out an SE X-Power with an LFP battery, somehow!

I came from an XR2 and then two GTis - a Peugeot and then a Golf. I was gobsmacked by how close the SE SR came to the performance of these cars. If the X-Power had been available at the time I'm not saying I wouldn't have been tempted, but even the basic models are capable of quite impressive...

The subscription thing is interesting and I think in a good way. Someone like me, who might charge at a supercharger once in a blue moon, can't really justify taking one. But I can still charge at the supercharger if I want to, just at the dearer price. But people like Bricktop who can't charge...
