If the car is charging, I thought the charging plug is locked into the car?

I've tried a few cars in the past that lack steering feel, usually SUV/crossover type things, and found that they don't inspire confidence. If it's not too late to change cars, I'd be tempted to give the MG4 a try. It's got a decent amount of feel and feedback, even in the 'normal' drive move.
