Perfect, thanks. I have now ordered some replacement 4ohm tweeters, and should also already have a few capacitors already on order to give a similar low pass filter to the originals.
Fitting will be the tricky bit as the ones I've ordered have a rather large faceplate, I may need to do a little...
In the stock sound setup, does anyone know the crossover point of the tweeters?
I'm looking into a possible tweeter only upgrade, but I don't want to get some that can only handle 3KHz and up if the stock setup is crossed over at 2KHz for example
I don't really want more SPL, but I find the...
Hi, I went for a Viofo A119 V3, I would recommend.
It's known to be pretty good bang for the buck in terms of image quality, and it sometimes goes to less than £100 on Amazon when a money off voucher appears.
Around 1kg of plastic for a 3d printer is around £20, but most commonly avaliable 3d printers are quite limited in the size of objects they can print - Anything larger than 300mm in any dimension it considered tricky, but not impossible
I don't know if I'd trust the software after the whole getting locked in thing!
$499 is way over priced IMO, is it was less than £50 maybe, but it's something I'd hardly ever use myself.
I understand your concern here.
Hyperflash can be an MOT fail, I believe the wording says something like 'must flash no more than 2 times a second' about indicators and hazard lights.
If the replacement bulbs give out a similar amount of light or more, and the replacements are reliable and...
Hi, I've been looking to do something similar myself, I've already fitted brighter reversing lights as it can be tricky to see behind while reversing.
Can I ask after swapping to LED indicators, does the blinking speed change?
On some cars it can result is very fast flashing while indicating...
My dashcam is a Viofo A119 V3 which will use the main 12v battery in the car for power even when in parking mode. I don't plan on using any extra batteries for this.
In order to stop the camera completely running down the 12v battery, the hardwire kit has a low voltage cutoff, so when the...
Let me know how it goes and best of luck. It's nice not to cut into the cars original wiring.
I'm currently powering my front dashcam using the power feed that goes to the auto dimming mirror, and while it works, I'm hoping to use parking mode if there's a permanent live in the roof module thing.
That looks like it will be a neat setup.
It would be nice to know if there is a permanent live on the PCB for the interior lights, as this allows for the parking mode for dashcams that support it.
Thanks, I believe that's similar or the same as this one on Aliexpress:

However it looks like it's intended for LHD cars as the hole for the rear view mirror is on the left, and it would need to be mirrored for a RHD car.
However it does...
As far
I managed to get the cover off on my trophy in the end, and there is indeed a connection for the mirror. I've not measured the voltage yet, but it's most likely 12v.
I've only driven the Trophy, so cannot comment on the SE.
The Trophy lights are good in my opinion, a good amount of light, sharp cutoff, and very even amount of light between dipped beam and full beam.
