    Nothing illegal about it, but some may consider it to be playing the system, which I guess it is. Whether or not the government decide to try and stop it is anyone's guess.

    No because you will 're-tax' the car in March 2025 for another year. Just done mine!

    Yes - when you open the app and select the Zappi charger (beta) it then takes you through to select the car. All of the charger selections Ohme, Wallbox and Zappi are classed as beta. And logged in through the Myenergi account.

    @Rolfe and anyone else heading along the M6 to/from Scotland Ionity Carlisle has opened this morning (12 x 350kW chargers) and yes I know @Rolfe wasn't very impressed with Ionity ;)

    What Charging station for a newbie

    With solar panels the favoured charger appears to be the Zappi and also the Hypervolt. I've just had quotes around £1150 to have one fitted. I think that the plan is to stop doing economy 7 at some point in the not too distant future so you might want to check that out. HTH
