I have an MG ZS EV Mk1 in Melbourne and the 12 v battery started playing up at around 12 months. It just seems to be on the way out with readings of around 12 volts. The dealer has checked it out and says it is ok but I doubt it will last once the weather gets colder. Makes sense to trickle...
The automotive industry is bashing EVs on all media to buy time while they are re-gearing themselves to produce electric vehicles. Major car manufacturers have discontinued the development of new petrol engines and are flat-out designing new EVs.
Just one thing to realize with lane keep assist is it switches off below 60 km/hr. It does give a bong when doing so but there are so many bongs you tend not to hear them and the visual cue is well out of your line of sight. I would like lane keep assist to work above 15 km/hr.

Agree. Though one occasion where I use a lot of regenerative braking is on streets with short, high speed humps. I take the MG ZS EV over those slowly because of the weight.
All I can say is I assumed there would be an automatic brake light as part of the KERS system and I am somewhat gobsmacked that with all the electronics this was not done. If anyone develops a system that can be retrofitted to the MGs I will be first in line.
