I have kept a log of charging for the whole of ,y ownership of my MG5 because I was interested in just what mileage I would get per kWh. I have yet to examine the data contained in the log.

Sort of, yes and no. It's really more that the HT and magmount isn't really doing that well in general so it would be nice to get it properly installed for the next longish trip I have at the beginning of June.

Right, I’m going to get mine installed in the next week or two. My antenna mount will be fitted in the middle of the rear of the roof (can be replaced with a shark fin for later sale if necessary) and the radio main unit will likely be installed under the boot floor panel. I would suggest that the forward motion of the vehicle should be somewhat of a giveaway that the "go" pedal is being operated. Far more of an issue is that people seem to mash the pedals with little or no finesse, leading to problems when they inevitably lose control.

I haven't done so yet althought I have the bits necessary to do it. I shall be using a Panorama M8 mount since it is very discreet and I already have antennas for it (including the now-discontinued V/UHF dual band one at around 300mm length.) To be honest, drilling and fitting the antenna...

Morning All, Being one of those ham radio types I am preparing to get the drill out and install my VHF/UHF radio in my MG5 and I wondered if anyone else around here had installed similar kit (including PMR or CB) in their EV. If so, what issues did you encounter, if any? TIA Piggly
