When I passed my driving test - in an Austin A30 van - it had trafficators not flashing indicators. For those below a certain age they were mechanical signal arms about six inches long which shot out from the door pillar (if the battery was sufficiently charged) and lit up with an orange light...
Kithmo, I'm sure you are knowledgeable, but please don't treat me as an idiot. It's pretty obvious that my air con is working when the air coming through the vents is several degrees colder than outside ambient temperature. (Even in the recent heatwave.) Therefor I do know that my air con is...
I'm sorry but I don't agree. The air conditioning on my car does run in eco mode, and as a matter of interest the heating works well in eco mode as well despite what many have said.

Well in my opinion the Mk 1 is a fine car, just make sure that all the software is up to date and go for it. I don't think an App is essential, I've been driving for 56 years and never had, or wanted, an app!

No, that is a CT clamp. The hub is a separate box of tricks that "talks" to the Zappi and is connected to WiFi. I don't have the latest model of Zappi so I have a hub next to it, although it could be further away.

2 touch the icon that shows a picture of a car, on the left

I tried to edit the vehicle I am driving, as shown on the left under members details, but it wouldn't let me change to "1st Gen MG ZS EV" which is a shame.

The lift I have is an Autochair LC 80 but I do have to have part of the back seat folded down (the 2/3 part) so effectively the car is reduced to a 3 seater including the driver. Previously I could get the scooter (dismantled) in the boot but it was a very "snug" fit and I struggled with the...
Well for the benefit of anyone interested, I have had the scooter lift fitted today and it looks to be a good design and it works as intended. It was fitted to the car on my drive and the fitter made a good tidy job of it.
I'm well pleased.

Bonjour John (That's the limit of my French!)
Not being thick (or think) but with the scooter dismantled it fits in the boot, but a tight fit. If I get the lift I will need to have part of the back seat down and the scooter will have plenty of room and there will be some space in the boot as...
